Who We Serve
The children we serve, aged 7-17 years old, are the tragic embodiment of the statement “Freedom is not free.” They have made the ultimate sacrifice of losing a loved one who served for our country for the freedoms we enjoy each day. Camp Hometown Heroes is growing every year. In 2019, we served 192 campers from 35 states. The more funds we raise, the more children we can welcome.
ABOUT US
Camp hometown heroes is a free week-long overnight summer camp for children and siblings of fallen U.S. service members. During their visit to camp, the children begin the healing process with other children who have experienced a similar loss, doing the summer activities that they love.
